Cataracts Puppy Blind HELP!! Boston Terrier 5 Week Old Puppy Has Red Eyes When Pictures Taken And When Light Shown Into Them?

HELP!! Boston Terrier 5 week old puppy has red eyes when pictures taken and when light shown into them? - cataracts puppy blind

I'm going to buy a puppy from a reputable breeder and she has shared with me that the puppies 5 weeks "red eyes" when taking photos and when light is shown on the eyes. The farmer is the veterinarian who does not believe that the membranes of the students is persistent, but will change the eye color. Has anyone heard? I heart a son aged seven broken'll see if the dog make a deposit, only to discover that he is blind to go. (I do that) handle. When is it too early to say whether a puppy is blind, or PPM. Both parents are CERF tested and not the gene for cataract. There is no way possible for the puppies. Thank you very much.

It may well be a reflection of natural light to the retina. For peace of mind, have the puppy checked by a veterinarian. But do not panic, not yet. This drive is actually a good breeder to say, now test, especially for parents before breeding. Let no one touch your child knows how to move a puppy until they are about to bring the dog home. Even the best players and best puppies have accidents. :-(

Genetic testing for cataract is a useful method to prevent cataracts in the offspring, but it is never 100% preventable ... Cataracts are not always caused by genes.

The parents of our puppies have been tested and cleared for a variety of genetic problems, but said the vet if he is a good indicator of the likelihood that you have a dog, not an agreement to 100%.
