So I have a sore throat for about 5 days and my gums around the teeth, swollen and bleed when I brush. I had a fever during the first days, but it has disappeared, but returned occasionally. My back right molar is about half covered by an inflammation of the gums and my throat is a terrible pain. I saw the doctor two days ago and was prescribed amoxicillin, if a bacterial infection, antibiotics but it did not work and a little bit because it was still swollen, bloated and just gingiva. The neck pain is the main problem, however, and I wonder if it just a nasty viral infection or is it something that only others. I also continue to take antibiotics?
